What is Turmeric?
Created from the Turmeric plant, this spectacular spice has been around for thousands of years, and used worldwide for its 'magical' medicinal uses. It has a warm, bitter taste and is often associated with Indian cooking, as it is frequently used to flavour or colour curry powders, mustards, butters, and cheeses.
But the root of the turmeric plant is also used widely to make medicines, covering a wide range of ailments, from pains and inflammations, to ha fever, depression, itching and even heartburn.
How does it work?
As Turmeric is packed with the naturally occurring chemical 'Curcumin', the combination of Curcumin and other chemicals in the root work on decreasing inflammation in the body.
The mixture of all of Turmeric’s fantastic components make it a superb solution for any problems relating to inflammation or pain in the body - perfect for stopping any swelling or pain in those niggly joints and muscles.
